Privacy Policy

This policy explains how UpDoer Technology (“we”, “us”) handles personal information in connection with this marketing website. It covers the information you choose to send us through the Contact and Careers forms, and the limited technical information involved in running the site. It does not cover any separate product or service we provide to clients under their own terms.

When you use the Contact form we receive:

• your full name, business email address, subject and message;
• an optional file attachment, if you choose to add one.

Only send what is needed for your enquiry, and please do not include sensitive personal information or confidential client data in the message or attachment.

When you apply for a role, or submit your resume without a specific role, we receive:

• your full name, email address, phone number, total experience and current location;
• optional links to your LinkedIn profile and GitHub or portfolio, and an optional cover letter;
• your resume, and the role you are applying for (if any).

Resumes (PDF, DOC or DOCX) and Contact attachments are checked when you upload them and are then sent by email to our team. They are not published on the website and are not stored in our content management system. Please do not include government ID numbers, financial details or other sensitive information in your resume.

• to assess your application and contact you about it (Careers), and, where you ask us to, to keep your details in mind for future opportunities;
• to protect the website and forms from spam and abuse;
• to meet legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your submissions reach us as email, and we reply to the address you provide. When you submit a job application we also send an automatic email to that address confirming we received it. We do not use the details you give us to send marketing email unless you have separately agreed to receive it.

This website does not currently use analytics tools, advertising technology or tracking cookies of its own. If that changes, we will update this policy before doing so.

Two services embedded in the site may use cookies or similar browser storage under their own policies: Cloudflare Turnstile, which appears on the Contact and Careers forms, and the Calendly booking calendar on the Schedule page.

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site and handle your submissions:

• an email delivery provider (Resend), which transmits form submissions, including attachments, to our team and sends application confirmations to the address you gave;
• Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check on the Contact and Careers forms that helps tell people from automated programs. It receives technical information from your browser, such as your IP address and browser characteristics, and our server sends the check's result token to Cloudflare to confirm it before a submission is accepted;
• our content management system (Sanity), which stores the website's content and serves its images; your browser may request those images directly from Sanity's servers;
• the hosting provider that serves this website, which may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request details, for security and reliability;
• a scheduling provider (Calendly), whose booking calendar is embedded on our Schedule page. Details you enter there, such as your name, email address and meeting information, are collected and processed by Calendly under its own policy, not through our forms.

These providers handle information on our behalf or on their own account as described in their own policies, and some operate outside your country.

To keep the forms free of spam, they include a hidden field that people do not see, the Cloudflare Turnstile security check described above, and a short-term limit on repeated submissions that uses your IP address. That limit is kept in the server’s temporary memory; we do not store it in a database.

We keep enquiries and applications only for as long as we reasonably need them for the purposes above, or as the law requires. We have not set fixed retention periods on this page. If you would like us to delete something you sent us, contact us using the details below.

Information you submit travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, uploaded files are checked before they are accepted, and secrets such as email credentials are kept on the server and never in the pages sent to your browser. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, such as asking to see it, correct it, delete it or object to how we use it, and to withdraw a job application at any time. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond as required by the law that applies to you, and we may need to confirm your identity first.

This website is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children.

We may update this policy as the website or the way we handle information changes. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed, and the current version always applies to information collected through this site.
